Resveratrol

Resveratrol is a plant compound found in grapes and red wine, one of the earliest and most hyped longevity supplements, studied for its effects on pathways associated with ageing (including sirtuins). It is often discussed alongside NAD+ boosters.

Resveratrol generated enormous early excitement from animal and cell studies, but human results have been largely disappointing and inconsistent, partly due to poor absorption. It is a useful cautionary example of how animal promise does not always translate to humans.

Generally well tolerated at moderate doses. Can have a mild blood-thinning effect and may interact with some medications. High-dose long-term safety is less established.

If you take blood thinners or other regular medication, check for interactions before high-dose use. Temper expectations, human evidence for meaningful benefit is weak despite the marketing.

Moderate, sold as a monthly supply.
